Overdue fines are charged at the rates shown in the chart below. When an item is declared lost, the library charges the borrower the replacement cost of the item, a processing fee of $25.00 and the maximum fine of $10.00. In addition, the borrower will be flagged at the Registrar’s Office and will not be able to register for classes or obtain a transcript or diploma until the account is cleared.

  Circulating materials:

$ .20 per item per day with a maximum of $10.00 per item.

   Overnight Reserve materials:

$1.00 per item per day with a maximum of $10.00 per item.

The charge for lost materials is the actual cost of the item plus a $25.00 processing fee and a $10.00 fine.

Failure to return books on time can result in suspension of library privileges until the matter is resolved.
