In the advanced search from OneSearch, there are limiters to make things more specific/defined/narrowed down when you are searching. Image Quick View is one of these options. When you check off one of the options for Image Quick View, such as "Illustration", your results will show those records that contain illustrations related to your search term. I recommend you try a search to find out. For example, put in "picasso" and check off "illustration", then play around with your results and further narrow them down with the left-hand option (more limiters).

Journal holdings are those journals (periodicals) that you have access to as an SU student. When you have a search term, you can narrow down your list to see what journals are contained in the results. There are different ways to search our journals.

For the IS 140 class assignment, I recommend either talking in person with a librarian, as well as looking up "EBSCO Discovery Service" from the EBSCOhost website. That is the discovery platform that we use to search our many databases. Though it may appear to the outside user that the library website is one organism, your assignment addresses the layers of our website and databases. We would be happy to meet with you to explain it in further detail and clarify any confusion.

Thanks,

SU Librarians
