In addition to books and periodicals, the SU Library has a large collection of DVDs and Blu-Rays. Some of these films are instructional, but many are feature films or television titles.

Our films are found in the library catalog. Do a keyword search for a specific movie or a topic of interest.
The circulating films can be checked out for one week. Students may have up to two at a time.

Movies are frequently put on reserve for various classes. Reserve films are kept behind the Circulation Desk.

At the Greenspring Campus Library most reserve films can only be viewed in the library They may not leave the library without the explicit permission of the professor who placed them on reserve.

At the Owings Mills Library, reserve films usually circulate overnight. They may not circulate for a longer period without the explicit permission of the professor who placed them on reserve.

The library also subscribes to Kanopy, a database of streaming videos on a wide variety of topics. Kanopy includes both educational and feature films.
