Please note that if you want to browse the internet and show webpages via the Solstice Pod, you will need to use the instructor computer or a laptop.  

  1. Lower the screen using the control panel on the front wall.  You can also raise or lower the blinds using the other control panel.
  2. Make sure you're connected to the eduroam wifi network.  The SU-Connect guest network will not work.  
  3. Turn on the projector using the remote control.  Turn on the computer or mobile device that you wish to use.  
  4. You'll see a message like this on the screen, with instructions:

  5. On your computer or mobile device, go to https://share.mersive.com/  
  6. Enter one of the IP addresses shown on the screen (usually either 10.64.132.31 or 192.168.43.1) and click the green "Connect" button:

  7. Look for the 4-digit key shown on the projection screen.  Enter this key on your computer or mobile device, then click the green "Connect" button:

  8. Click the blue "Share" icon to share your screen:

  9. Choose a browser tab, window, or entire screen to show on the projector:

  10. The contents of your screen will now be shown on the projector screen.  
  11. When you're done, there is the option to stop sharing and/or disconnect from the Solstice pod.  You can do so if you want, but you can also simply turn off the projector and your device.  
  12. Make sure you turn off the projector before leaving the room.
